Yep, try another gage- once I was test driving my jeep after a fresh rebuild and noticed the pressure went to zero at idle- my heart just sank cause I thought 'oh know"! but I tried another gage and it held good pressure, so one or the other gage was bad and since its still running after ten years it must have been the first one.
