Since my trucks are not stock, and have additional electrical requirements, I do my own wiring. If I used a stock wire harness, I would still have to have extra wires.
By doing it my way, I have a 10 circuit fuse panel, along with relays for heavy draw items. I use modern wire, not repo stuff. Then all wiring goes in split loom. NO wires anywhere are hanging unprotected. Its not cheap to wire a truck, But doing it this way, I get a total custom job based on my wants and needs.
