One step forward, two steps back on the WC

Was getting ready to replace the wheel cylinders on the WC 59/60. Pulled the wheels and drums to see of it also needs brake shoes. Turns out the last guy who did the brakes put the front wheel cylinders on the wrong sides! Four of the shoes are decent, the other four are badly worn. One is worn down to the rivets. Also noticed that the cap screws that hold the steering arm in place had worked loose, exposing the bearing to dirt and water. That also explains the sloppy steering. Half of the spring pins are missing zerk fittings. The other half are clogged. If that's not enough, the threads on one of the wheel studs are stripped. Geesh! Time to order new cylinders and copper gaskets, and reline some shoes. I'm thinking of installing Speed-Bleeder screws. Any one have experience with these?

Also flushed the radiator. Went to open the drain valve on the side of the block, and the whole thing fell out. Turns out the threads are stipped. Also, no coolant came out at all. Seems the passage is completely blocked with carbon build up. Makes no sense. Anyone ever see this before? I stuck a plug in it with some JB Weld for now.
