Nope, I say more wear and tear on gears and bearings, weak short axle, and only done to make room for the rear PTO shaft. it was easy enough to do as the NP200 Tcase already had 2 outputs as it was originally designed for the WC62 6x6 built in WW2 so they already had axle housings available to produce them offset.
