The warranty on your two year old Caliber will continue thru its original term. It will continue to be the responsibility of Chrysler or any subsequent company formed thru merger or takeover. If Chrysler were to file for bankruptcy protection it would still the company's responsibility to cover its products. The scenario where you loose (& millions of others) out is if the automaker were to permanently close its doors and Cerberus sold off all of Chrysler’s assets to recover their investment.
