I believe you can thank unions for all the outsourcing. Most common number being bantered around is the cost of an additional 1500 PER car just to pay for the retiree's medical benifits of a whopping $23 friggin dollars a month !! THAT is what pisses me off Birdo. And they complain how they have given up something the last 2 contracts. Those people make me sick !! I have to pay my medical care premiums and they damn sure are not 23 dollars a month. Any company that builds a huge number of product can't afford to pay those kind of costs and remain competitive here in the U.S. They have stockholders to answer to, and a profit has to be made-- otherwise it's adios to the company. Pretty simple math at work here.Yeah, I can hear all the crap about big private jets and such-- but guess what? Most of the jets are made right here in the good old U.S. Go tell Wichita how they need to stop making them there company jets for so much money. In case you can't tell-- I despise unions and people that have to have them to make a living. Seems they ought to be able to do that themselves.
