Dewitt, NE, home of Vise-Grips since the beginning, is just a stones throw from my house. The shop closed up last year, moved somewhere, now apparently to China.
Vise-Grips isn't alone as we all know, but the companies that hide behind their vail of being "American" is getting alarming. Levi's haven't been made in America for years. Craftsman tools, "Made in the U.S.A." I found out about 80% of their tools are made overseas. So if you see that U.S.A. logo... check carefully,... USA must be- Unified Southern Asia, or something.
