I unloaded the truck this afternoon and a quick spin around the sub, and no noticeable slippage. Once parked I crawled under and checked the slave. Feels like almost 1/4" of slack before the fork engages throughout bearing.
The Clutch shop said that it was very rare for the clutch I bought to slip and even smoke. that if I have another issue to bring it in for them to diagnose, but my only better option was to go to a multi plate racing clutch.
