Will: what is the max torque rating of the clutch?. I have heard that the Borg and Beck style will loose grip at higher rpm's. I think it is because the design of the release fingers gets a centrifical force acting on them that changes the clamping force. Did the builder add more springs or heavier ones to compensate for your running gear and engine?. I think you can modify these clutches to a point with the spring setting. Is the body twisting enough to operate the clutch linkage to make it slightly depress the pedal?. My old 66 CJ-6 ( 225 V-6 buick engine) did the same thing when it got all twisted up. The linkage would bind and actually work the clutch itself. Just a thought Terry
