I just bought the 1967 W300 fire truck from Parks Twp. that was posted here. It has a 9 foot dually stepside box and I am looking for information on the spare tire mount. The fire apparatus is on the drivers side so I would like to mount the spare on the passenger side right where the spare is mounted on my WDX. Any ideas on how I might do this?? I took the homemade plywood bed off the back and uncovered the 250 gallon water tank and the original floors which have been covered since the truck was new. The wood has shrunk and left gaps up to 1/2 inch on the wider outer boards. Still neat to see the orginal bed. I have pictures but don't know how to post if anyone is interested.
