just a s thought are the brakes lights coming on if they are i dont think its a short to ground or the wire would fry or a fuse blow ! J personally this i a quick fix if it was a short in you brake lights !!! you must alao rememeber that the brake light are inter connected to the TURN SIGNALS HMMMM
