I actually saw a couple of ff PWs for sale about 15 years ago in Woodinville. They were used by a construction company. They were well used. Was talking to the mechanic and saw a tag that said Wittenberg truck. He said yes they were. Apparently Whittenberg rebuilt the trucks and did some improvements. They then retitled them as a Wittenberg truck rather than a Dodge. One thing that Wittenberg had to do to retitle them was to meet some saftey regs. The guy showed me the side impact beams that had been installed in the doors.
Last I knew a lot of the Whttenberg stuff ended up out in the town of Buckley which is out near Enumclaw. Wittenberg is out of the old Miltary equipment business or was bought out years ago. That is why the stuff ended up in Buckley. There is a large junk yard parts place out there that bought all of it.
