WDX-WM300 Tie Rod end interchange fo M37 ones?

I purchased a pair of NOS tie rod ends for my B4 ffpw. I knew that they were for the M37 but I bought them anyway since they looked the same as my originals. I come to find that it appears that the threads on the new ones appear slightly finer and after starting them on the tie rod the new tie rod end felt very tight so I stopped. First question: are the M37 and WDX-WM300 desighned to interchange? Can I recut coarser threads in the new ones and finally should I pack them up and buy another (correct?) pair. Any help appreciated.
