CAC = Charge Air Cooling. With CAC you have the after cooler mounted in front of the radiator, cooling the charge air by the outside air passing through it.
JWAC= Jacket Water After Cooler. The JWAC is a self contained after cooler mounted on the engine intake and cools the charge air with engine coolant circulating through it.
