I purchased this truck in 2002, and put it through a complete frame off restoration between the years of 2003 and 2007. There was only minor surfaces rust on this truck when I bought it – no rust holes of any kind. All main body parts were in excellent shape and dent free. All parts were stripped – media blasted – primed and painted with Gillespie Semi Gloss Enamel Olive Drab #24087. Every part of this truck has been re-done with the highest detail and care.

New parts – and N.O.S. replacement parts on this truck. I will try to remember them all starting with the basics.

* The truck has 23,000 original miles and the original straight six 230 gas engine.
* New 4.89 gears and front lockouts.
* New 24 volt wire harnesses
* Not N.O.S. Professionally re-built carburetor.
* The fuel tank has been boiled, cleaned and re-lined.
* All fuel lines cleaned and two replaceable fuel filters installed. One is just after the fuel tank and one is between the fuel pump and carburetor.
* New electronic ignition module installed in the distributor.
* All new lights with turn signals have been installed.
* N.O.S. Trico vacuum windshield wiper motors installed with new vacuum lines.
* N.O.S. windshield glass with glass frame and rubber seals installed.
* All new gauges and dash lights installed.
* All new data plates.
* N.O.S. rubber shifter boots, gas and brake peddle boots.
* New canvas seat covers, seat foam, jerry can strap, pioneer tool kit straps from Beachwood Canvas.
* All new rubber window weather strips and door glass felt runners.
* Driver’s side rear view mirror added.
* Rubber bed mat and rubber cab floor mats.
* Three new sets of seat belts added.
* All new rubber fender welting installed.
* N.O.S. blackout driving light. 24 volt fender heater with defroster that works great.
* Master cylinder and wheel cylinders professionally rebuilt by White Post Restorations.
* New locking door handles installed.
* New White Oak wood installed on troop racks.
* All truck markings are painted on – not stickers.
* All new radiator hoses.
* Professionally rebuilt fuel pump by Vintage Power Wagons.
* New oil pressure sensor and water temperature sensor.
* N.O.S. Generator cable, choke cable and throttle cable.
* All five tire rims were reconditioned and powder coated prior to painting O.D. green and five new tires.
* N.O.S. parking brake band installed.
* Antenna mount with N.O.S. antenna.
* There was no major engine work done other than replacing the oil pan gasket.
* The truck has the typical minor leaks from the drive train. Nothing major – you may find a couple of drops under the truck after you park it. I believe these trucks were built to do this.

The list could go on – I know that I am missing many other items. This truck is a must see to truly appreciate. The frame serial number on this truck is 2661160109 and the engine number is 1245-203562. Per the M37 Registry information - confirms this truck to be 1961 series built and there were only 3190 total built for that year.

This truck runs great and is an outstanding daily driver. I have had this truck in many local parades and car shows and the response that I received regarding the quality of restoration is incredible. This truck has never seen rain or snow and is stored indoors. My goal was to restore this truck as close to original condition as I could. The reason that I am selling is that I feel it is time for a new project.

This truck needs nothing but a new driver. I have this truck currently titled and licensed as a collector in the state of Wisconsin.

If you have any questions please call 414-531-1673 and ask for Jim.
