Ya I am remembering now. "square" engines were the in thing. My first car was a 39 Ford coach, 85HP full floating bearings,revved like heck, that was 1956. The local hot rod club bugged me to join as there wasn`t a flathead around that could beat me,, (they were the kind of dudes that would instal a cam without elongating the holes & timing it haha)
