I received this email from John Sorrenson the other day and ask him if I could share this with all of you on the forum:

I just did a BBQ for Francis Ford Coppola at his sound studio in Rutherford they just finished mixing the sound for Francis' new movie.
The studio called me yesterday to do a lunch today and all of my trucks were out so I used the 50 Power Wagon. This is the one that went in the mud bog last year at the rally.
That orange Honda element is Francis number one car.

John from St. Helena, CA owns Sorrenson's Catering and is the caterer at the California Dodge Power Wagon Rally. He really puts out great spread. His famous lobster feeds and barbecue's are second to none.
John checks in here at the forum often but hasn't posted much. He is quietly putting together a very nice collection of Power Wagons. He was at the house a couple of weeks ago with the PW in the picture. It has a 318 with NP 435 tranny in it. I am planning on doing the same thing to a 1948 I have and he was kind enough to let me drive it, it is a nice truck.
