ditributer, I tried but it did not work. VPW unit is set up for the later units. You can but 10 or 12 sets of points and condensers for the cost of that unit and they will last 20 to 30 years. I really like it better setting them in th pouring rain witha wet matchbook cover a worthless flashlight showing a little crack. Provides the rest of the world mindless entertainment.
