Hey Copey I run into that every day in my shop. Sometimes there is a big price difference. Just the other day I needed a trans mount for a Buick. I like the oe mounts because they are made better and the aftermarkets are cheap and made in China or some other offshoe place. The OE mount was 400.00 dollars and aftermarket was 75.00 dollars. So when I call the customer and explain the cost and quaity differences they usally go for the cheaper parts. I also tell them I can not warranty the cheaper parts for the same amount of time. There is alot of junk out there that I woudnt even use on anybodys car. Most of the OE stuff is made overseas but they are made to a better standard. I bought a heater fan resistor for a Dodge Van the other day and I couldnt even say the Name of the country that is was made in. And it was factory Mopar part. O well thats how it is in todays world economy. The Dodge Boys.
