If you go with the getrag put a 90* elbow in the filler so you can overfill it. I was told the bearings don`t get enough lube, especially at idle. That was the main problem in the winter when everyone leaves them running. I got 150,000 out of one before the OD went out but I was hauling 18,000 lbs & although I tried not to I used OD on the flatlands, 70 to 80 MPH Couldn`t complain lots of abuse it got in the mountains as well. Replaced LOTS of rear tires though
