Well, I have seen many kits to replace Getrag transmissions with other transmissions, but I have NEVER seen a kit to replace a NVG4500 with a Getrag.

Dodge used to have Getrag transmissions in their diesel rams back in the early 90's. The industry breathed a sigh of relief when they switched them out for the New Venture 5 speeds.

I have always heard that spare parts support for Getrag transmissions is pretty sad.
