The Canadian government has gone to some serious effort to reduce the number of deer/elk/moose versus vehicle collisions. Alongside of many of their main highways they have erected fences that keep the animals off the highway. There are either tunnels or overpasses located occasionally to allow the animals to cross safely. It seems to me like a great way to help everyone. The animals were here first. JH
