He said what happened to the moose. The charity people that take care of the moose that are hit were there at the same time as the troopers.
In Alaska, when a moose is hit, they have groups that come out and haul the moos off. They will butcher it and freeze the meat. The poor and out of work can go to these charities and request meat. They are given the mee that they need. Unlike deer when they are hit there is a lot of good meat to be used. Think about how long those legs are on a moose. What happens quite often is that the legs are broken and the moose ends up in the front seat with you. Often there is not a direct hit to the body of the moose. Most cars take out the legs.
When I lived in Alaska, I saw moose jump a moving car. It is kinf of weird you can be driving though a neiborhood that looks like any other in the lower 48. Next thing you know your hitting the brakes to avoid the 3 moose that just came out from between a couple of houses.
