It's off of a ramcharger or trailduster. Not a U-joint, not a rag joint. It's a slip joint/cv joint. PepBros or Napa no good, we don't even know what to call it.
I want to use it for my power steering conversion. It has more slip than a rag joint, and is smaller diameter than the u-joint on the Jeep column. And I like the idea of sliding in and out.
Other news, got my serpentine belt on. Had to add an idler, otherwise the 3" slot for the alternator travel was not enough. And now I have almost 180° of contact at both alt and PS pump. And the junk yard pressure hose will work, I made a conversion fitting at the box for the o-ringed fitting. Good enough for now, I'll get a custom hose done once I make sure the pump and box work.
