In KA it is illegal to dump anything down a storm drain that isn't cleaner than rain water. Not sure about the sewer, but most reclamation plants now use organic algae blooms to filter waste. Anything not organic will kill the algae and they can trace it right to your home if they are so inclined.
Cost a friend $62,000 for replacement of the algee....
Dumping anything down the drain is a no-no if you are caught.
