Buy the H1 (1992- 1996) for not much more and have the time of your life. I've had mine ten years now and have had a blast. Take off all bells and wistles and work the truck hard. The old school H1 community is knowledgeable about there trucks. The H1 is mechanicaly the same as the humvee in the early years. I'd like to get a '92 open top, no doors. Off roading performance is in the top ten or better :o .
