You guys have talked about spline count. The Dodge application box was a 13/16" 36 and the spline on the Chev van box is a 3/4" 30.
If you do this yourself, the inner steering shaft measures .887 and that u-joint will have to be bored to meet this. Buying an oversized joint will not work.
