A couple of weeks ago my neighbor had an auction. He bought most of his stuff used, but very nice. All the major equipment brought as much or more than he paid for it years ago. Good year+inflation+eager bidders. I did not even buy a hot dog.
The last couple of years have made short memories of the decade before them.
