I have a Dodge Command Car 3/4 ton with 4.30 gear ratio. runs great over the highway but is not the best on hills. Smooth at 55 mph. That gear came out of a truck that Dodge made in the late 50s into the 60s. Like a mail truck. 2wd Delivery van with some type of independent suspension. They are a 3rd member. Good Luck.
