It would make a great hauler. Note that it has Michelin XL tires.

Obviously someone added the bed. Surprised that it is only a short one. Wonder what was on the back to begin with. Possibly a flat bed or a dump bed but I would expect it to take a long bed. Maybe the frame has been shortened. Nice truck though. It could be made into a real nice hauler. Possibly minor driveline changes and a lot of insulation for the cab and a set of over the road tires for those long trips. I would suspect that the 5 speed could be a over drive which would help a lot. International had a 5 speed overdrive at that time as well as a direct drive 5 speed. I wonder which it is.

This truck brings back a lot of memories. I grew up in my teenage years with a 67 3/4 ton International PU 4x4. I got it stuck the day after my dad bought it and had to be towed out. I should have been able to get out but I had no experience. The amazing thing was is that my dad and I went to pick it up at the dealer in Seattle. When all was said and done at the dealer, he handed me the keys and said "I have to go back to work take it home and be careful". I learned on the way home that the backend of an empty PU will lock up and start to come around on you when a car pulled out in front of me. My dad was really interesting guy in that he trusted us kids a lot and give us privledges and responsibilities well beyond our years. If we screwed up we knew about it. But he let my best buddy and I take the truck and camper for multiple days of hunting or fishing. We never messed up. Both of us did not drink or etc. My buddy and I still can not believe that my dad turned over the truck and camper to us. One time we had a major suspension issue on one of our fishing trips. I got the truck home after several calls to him and some temporary repairs. He knew it was not my fault, an axle U bolt snapped and I dropped several leaf springs on a back road. The dealer had just worked on the front axle and had over torqued the nuts on the U bolts. But he trusted my temp repair and me getting it the 100+ miles home.
