Hey Norm:
Wanted to share in the good news. Just had another MRI of the brain & the 4 tumors there are completely gone. I'm going for another CAT scan on the 24th to make sure the mass on my lung is still gone too. If so, then I just finished my final chemo treatment for what I hope is a good long time.
Needless to say, the 8 months they gave me has been rescinded. They have no idea how long I have now, which is fine by me, as none of us really are supposed to know that. I plan however, to mess up my daughter's wedding & honeymoon, & she's only 8 now (& I don't plan on letting her date until she's 35).
I still have to get the radiation treatment, but that's not for a while yet. That'll suck as I have to go to Milwaukee for 2 weeks. Oh well. At least I'll be able to come home on the weekends, which is good as I have classes on Saturdays.
