I just installed a Weiand 7503 (the only one available) on my Poly 318 last weekend, so I don't have the Carter AFB dialed in quite yet. After jetting the AFB last summer, I got 2mpg better milage (12mpg), which is pretty good for a 5000lb TWPW in the mountains! Now with this Weiand I notice a jump in torque and HP in the 2800rpm and up range. At about 65mph the secondaries finally DO something and I actually accelerate up hills! I have a flat spot just before 2800, so I'm going to the next size up in jets and maybe step-up springs.
I'm in CO so I left the heat riser flow, so you're on your own there. Pray for my mileage! Spitfire headers next year.
