I just fired up a rebuilt 1957 230 flathead six, installed in a 1945 dodge wc 1/2 ton dodge. My question is, where does the oil pressure gauge line pipe into the engine? Where does the external oil filter lines pipe into the engine? Also, the fuel pump isn't pumping. Should that be replaced, ($45) over rebuilding it myself? Can The arm on the fuel pump that runs off the cam be worn down some too? My wiring harness only has a few remnants remaining,and I would like to convert to 12 volt neg. ground. Can a later model truck harness be adapted, or Should I get a wiring kit, or guess what it should be and wire it from scratch?
