If you have had the vehicle into the dealer a couple of times a month for the last seven months you have a lemon by most states legal definitions. In my state, three times in for the same problem without being fixed is a lemon. Make sure you have service record copies, your warranty reciepts etc. Send a registered letter to Chrysler, there are contacts in the back of the owners manual. Then if not resolved promptly send another registered letter and request arbitration. The letter to Chrysler alone will probably resolve your problem. If not go to arbitration and demand they exchange the vehicle under the lemon laws. The Big Three do buy back/exchange vehicles frequently, I recently bought one at auction. It was less than a year old, less than 10,000 miles, and way less than half of new cost. This truck had a possible problem with the brakes. In about 12,000 miles I have found nothing wrong with them. I did receive a year additional warranty for a total of 4 years/48,000 miles. A good deal.
