Rob, to properly install the PTO it must be shimmed
to set proper gear mesh. You use multiple gaskets.
I have used from three to as many as five, you may
need to and a few more. Its a pain but I remove the
other side plate so I can hold the gear, you should
have a very very slite free play when rotating the pto
shaft back and forth. When checking the free play
ALL the nuts and bolt must be tight. Some times you
will need to install and remove the unit a few times.
