1. You can use Prestone's Heavy Duty Radiator cleaner. Make sure you back flush out all the old antifreeze before you use it, that's very important, if you don't, it will not clean as well. If you have an oily sludge in the water jackets, back flush, add a cup of tide, drive a couple of days, flush and then add the cleaner. You can put it in and drive your truck a couple of weeks. Service with new antifreeze, and add three other items, two cans of Prestone rust inhibitor & water pump lubricant and one package of aluminum stop leak.
If you use the stuff Chris mentioned, drive your truck for about 30 minutes. It does a better job clean that way, and then follow directions for nutralizing the stuff.
