17.5 rims had 2 size tires avail
7-17.5 & 8-17.5 with the 8-17.5 using an 8.25
internal bead to bead with rim
there was also a 10.17.5 rim with a 10.50 bead to
bead dimension. each tire was made for a specific
size rim as is the case with most tires but critical
on the .5rims
as the the mounting methods (bolt pattern etc),
offsets & backside settings can be matched with
other more common (today) wheels a change could
be made.
