Aircraft grade bolts

Grade 8 bolts are generally used in aircraft. This is required as a bolt failure at 10,000 feet can be most distressing. Seriously, grade 5 bolts (three dots or hashes) are fine for most things on a truck. The higher sheer resistance is needed on things that get jerked but grade 8 (5 dots or hashes) will work but cost more money than you need to spend.
