I fired up the M601 with civvy cab and drove it about a foot forward and a foot back (as soon as I noticed all the gas pouring out of the carb), but hey - it's taken me 6.5 years to build this thing out of several trailer loads of scrap metal. First time any of this stuff has been together or run in over 30 years. Woohoo -it lives - I am stoked. Now just gotta get a rebuild kit for the carb so I can take it out of the shed. Then add some doors, tray, paint, finish the lights, etc, etc.
