in California. In fact here in my county, the state, us, just lost the county contract to the county starting their own fire department. Its failing miserably. No one can provide the resources, personnel or training we can as such a large department, at the cost we can. The county is realizing they are not gonna make it. They recently cut nearly 300 county health employees to help bail out the fire department. If we came back, they have found we could save them nearly what their budget is now.
