We looked into it when I was a teenager, after I accidentally set my dad's shop on fire (don't ask). The short answer then was "none". However, there is something available now that is supposedly fire-retardant. The MSHA inspector told me about it when he was looking over our mine tour mine last year. We aren't legally subject to MSHA because we're not an operating mine, but we ask them to look it over anyway in case they see any hazards we didn't notice. This year there was a new inspector, out of western Washington rather than Spokane, and he was more used to inspecting gravel pits than underground mines. He really went "by the book" and found some stuff the other guy never found. One was that timbered portals are not allowed unless they have a built-in fire sprinkler system, or they're painted with fireproof paint. So, there not only is such a thing as fire-proof paint, but it's approved by MSHA for fireproofing mine timbers. I don't know anything more about it. I also don't know if it's considered a "1 hour fire wall" for building code purposes. Normally 5/8" sheet rock is used to get a 1 hour fire rating on frame buildings.
