Most figures I've seen are from 4-6 HP. Plus it's taking up engine bay room and requires another pulley belt.
A modern high output electric compressor can surpass the York in performance, delivers DRY air and can be mounted anywhere. It's just a more efficient and modern way to accomplish the same thing.
The Off-Road aftermarket has developed several electric compressors that can air up a 44" tire in short order.
