They said to come back when there is real progress on the truck. I said look at the rest of my vehicles in my file and the restores I did on those, and it still didn't matter. My question is, what if I wanted to keep it just the way it is, and clear coat it to preserve the way I found it? Other folks do this with no problems. They said " we've never seen that before" can you imagine? Maybe if it was the car found in a shop in Britain posted awhile back, it would qualify to their standards. For me, that is exactly my perception of the truck, it's just a different type of vehicle. So what if it's not a million dollar find. To truck folks, it is. Maybe they think I'm going to go out and plant telphone poles with it? Hey, isn't that part of the deal? An educational experience at a truck show? What about all of my Seagraves that I take to fire musters and pump water with? Thanks for letting me rant...chrisnj
