A "real" man does not even realize he is injured, until his better half happens to walk through the shop and notice the pool of blood creeping from under the truck. At which point, she makes a fuss, leads him to the kitchen (dripping all the way), cleans him up, and bandages/sews/amputates the offending tramma. Later, still feeling sorry for his whole ordeal, she will snuggle up next to him, keep him warm, and make him feel like the luckiest real man in the world.
Okay, I may have left out some select words of advice/interrogation/alarm, but you get the picture.... ;^)
