I'm not a GM fan but I had a 65 396 car & that was the nicest car or truck I've ever owned. I bought it when I was 18 & drove it until I was 30. It was my daily driver, went like a bat out of hell & never broke. I replaced the 6 u-joints once & did a clutch...that's it.
Oh...I think I adjusted the points once in 100K miles or so. :)
They truly are classics & the 67 435HP will always be the grand daddy of them all.
I'm sure if a guy had a couple hundred spare thousand, you'd make money on it one day.
Problem with this car....Wilbur syndrome.
You really don't want to touch this car. You're going to pay quite a premium for that original paint.
That said...I could drive that car as-is...it the body won't rust...not even in our Vancouver rain :)
Full chassis restore & then body back on would be how I'd do her up :)
