I thought about the bronze but thought that it would have been too soft. My '57 was an oilfield service truck for Texaco Exploration & Production and other than fleet service, I just wondered if others saw this type of wear? Yes, I plan to lube through the pin. I'd hope to stay with the bore that I've got in the spring bushing.
You advise is well taken.
