Okay, I am a current owner of a restored model 700 roof mount radio. So, I guess I had better hurry up and sell it, while I can still make some money on it, before you sell all of yours and you force the bottom to fall out of the market, right? Thanks for warning me. Providing insider information was a very courteous thing for you to do. I do wonder though, would selling it to a friend count, or do I have to "list" it somewhere and sell it? If I sold it to a friend, it would not be on the market and you would not have a chance to buy it out from under my friends. Oh wait, you would not want my radio, would you? It is only restored and not nearly as nice as even one of 100 NOS units. Oh, and what if I really, really, really have a lot of money to spend (I just sold my restored radio before the bottom of the market fell out, you know) and I really want to spend more than $275.00 for one of yours? Can I do this? Or will you stop the auctions at $275.00 and not let me have a chance to pay a higher price I deem fair? Darn, I wish you had not let us all know that you have 100 of them. Maybe you could post another thread saying you have 10 of them and the price will be $2,750.00 each. I would make feel much better paying that kind of price for a really rare (only 10 exist) NOS radio. I am going to be out of town for the next month and my friend (who is going to buy my restored radio) is going to be out of town in February. Could you wait until March to begin selling your radios? That would also give the rest of us two more months for our restored radios to appreciate in value. Actually, I am always out of town as I live in the country. Just don’t tell my friend, okay? What country do you live in? Maybe I will be passing through your country when I am out of my town next month. Could I stop by and buy the whole container? Oh that was silly. I’ll bet you thought I wanted all of the radios. That would be hoarding. No, I just want the container that the radios came in. I collect containers. I think your container (that once housed 100 NOS radios) would look good next to the container I have that housed 100 sets of NOS WDX rear fenders. Isn’t it amazing that your container had “100” radios and antenna sets, and my container had “100” sets of fenders? I wish I had not sold the fenders. We could have traded.

Brad, if you are legit, you should not be insulted by this post. But please reread your post and see how it sounded. Don’t be surprised if you just hacked off a lot of people. Maybe unintentional on your part, but do you see my point?
