Crawling around under the ole '53, I noticed that one of the steel bands that wraps around the bottom of the shock absorber tube has unwrapped (busted weld?)about 1/2 way around the circumference. Is something that I need to fix or not? The shocks work fine and there are no leaks. Thanks and Merry Christmas to ya'll.
As Bob Stopka can attest, our doors are open to Military Vehicle people in general and Dodge people, especially 41-42 1/2-ton WC people, but all are welcome. We hope to see a few in 2009. We're in Hagerstown, right at the junction of I-70 and I-81. 50 degrees today. Skiing must suck at White Tail resort and I may have to mow if this keeps up, but no complaints. We wouldn't trade this for ice storms for all the NOS WC parts in that mythical barn.
