Got the 58 going a few weeks back - enough to get it into the welding shop to make the plow mount. Now the snow's flying and the plow is almost done but the thing just isn't reliable enough to depend on it - had to pull it home with the Suburban yesterday... hard to say what went wrong this time - I haven't had time to look into it. I have a feeling it will eventually need work on something big... engine, transfer case, etc. Seems kind of overwhelming. Maybe I should get some sleep and consider it again later.
