That looks suspiciously like it could be freezing rain. You sure live up in the snow country but it's white here in Vancouver also. Temp was as low as 17* here which is pretty cold for this part of the world. News say it was 1978 the last time we had cold snap like this. I remember it well because we were having so many calls the FD had several houses running an extra engine company. I was working a training crew and we got to cover a mobile home with visqueen in about 40 MPH wind. Cold bit right through our turnouts. Are you able to get to work still. Lotsa calls, I bet. Stay safe.
